"The Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association (AFCEA), High Frequency (HF) Technical Committee (High Frequency Industry Associations (HFIA)) provides an industry driven forum for the interactive exchange of technical ideas and information in the area of High Frequency Communications."
This HFIA Web Site was created to provide interested parties information on and about the High Frequency (HF) Industry Association (HFIA) with detailed, up-to-date information about High Frequency Radio, HF Modems, and developments in HF Radio, as well as about the many ways the association is working with Governments and users around the world to support new, standardized, and interoperable systems to support HF radio users.

Last HFIA Meeting The February 7, 2008 meeting of the HFIA was held in San Diego, CA in conjunction with AFCEA West. The meeting was well attended and informative with excellent presentations on a variety of topics related to HF radio communications. Thank you to all those who were able to present at this meeting. As always, HFIA presentations can be downloaded using the links provided on this page. The meeting concluded with the election of Bruno Haineault as the next HFIA Chairman. Congratulations Bruno. The HFIA would also like to thank Rod Blocksome for his prior service as HFIA Chairman. Thank you Rod. |

HFIA Presentation List The HFIA web site contains a wealth of information in the many presentations over the past five years. In an effort to make this information more accessible, I have created an index. One page is indexed in HFIA meeting order; another page is sorted by subject matter. - Rod |

The HFIA Meeting Schedule
The HFIA conducts two annual meetings. In recent years we hold a January meeting in conjunction with the AFCEA West convention in San Diego, California. The second meeting has been held in the summer in Europe to increase participation from that area. The HFIA meetings are open to the public and interest parties are encouraged to attend. As soon as the agenda for next meeting is published it will be made available. If you would like to make a presentation, attend one of the meetings, or need additional information about the HFIA or information about HF radio and products, please contact a member of the HFIA, or one of the officers of the HFIA using the email address above.
